31-35

31. Snow peas, they are just coming on. We just pick them straight off the vine and eat them.
32. Great Neighbors, there have been so many kids at my house the past couple of days, it's great to live in a neighborhood with other kids and to like and trust them.
33. Music, I don't think I could half the things done I do in a day without it.
34. Thesaurus, besides using it to find my son's name I cannot write a thing without one, my fav. book
35. Extended family, my reunion is this weekend and my great aunt is turning 100! How fantastic is that, plus the fact that our huge extended family will all be there to celebrate with her.

21-25

21. The sound of the rain
22. The fact that though I left the door open all night the van was not dead or flooded.
23. Talking to my husband
24. Watching the kids swing
25. Loving my neighbors

It is late and I am tired. The keyboard is messing up and I can not use the apostrophe. So it is short for tonight. But keeping a journal of all the little moments of blessings makes me go to bed with a smile.

Today's Little Blessings 10-20

11. Teaching my daughter about herbs and she actually listened
12. Dancing in the candlelight
13. Watching the moon through the trees
14. Attending Gemini Fest- getting the chance to unwind without the kids
15. Rocky Road Cookies
16. Laughter- who cares if the joke wasn't funny, just watching your face when you told it was enough to make me laugh
17. Ceremony- Last night in the candle light and moon light I felt centered, at peace and energized all at the same time. Like for those moments everything was right and in harmony. It's just a reminder why this felt like coming home.
18. Garden- It's growing so well this year. It's so fun to be able to share with not only my kids but all their friends the bounty.
19. Hot Mama- It's always nice to get compliments. After giving birth to three kids and all the stuff that being a mother demands you don't often feel sexy or even pretty. Any moment where you feel like you shine is a blessing in my book.
20. Helping out a Friend- Even if it was just a little note and picture, just being able to brighten her day for a little bit warms my heart.

1-10

1. My husband- I am blessed with a wonderful man who puts up with all my craziness.
2. My Children- After experiencing loss each child is so much more amazing.
3. My Health- Other than an incompetent cervix I've never had any major health problems
4. A house- Not just any house but a turn of the century farmhouse in a small rural community, just about my perfect dream house.
5. A good running vehicle- Okay, I seriously don't like the van but it runs and gets us to where we need to go so it goes on the + side of things
6. Money- while we aren't rich, and our savings is non-existent, we have enough to pay our bills each month.
7. Friends- In both real life and here in cyberspace I've been lucky enough to meet some incredible people.
8. Faith- I think my religion causes me to look at life differently, see the most amazing things everyday.
9. Family- While we may not always get along with our family it's great to know that they are behind you no matter what. They may not agree with my choices but they will be there when I need help.
10. Time- The one thing you can never get back. My husband should be dead right now and while I don't often think of those times I know that each moment that I get to spend with him is a gift.

Counting Your Blessings

Each day I am blessed with so many little things. I'm hoping to make it to 1000 blessings counted. Here's to acknowledging the joy that's in my life.
